Easy to set up and use

This bucket trap for rats and mice is easy to use. The trap includes a ramp for the rodents to climb onto the bucket lid. They will cross a counterweight platform to get to the bait. Then their weight will cause the platform to fall forward. The rodent will slide into the bucket . Then the platform will automatically reset for the next mouse or rat.

The bucket trap can be clicked onto any standard 5 liter bucket . Place the bait, such as peanut butter, inside the tunnel. As the bait is not on the swinging platform, it will not affect the weight of the platform. The bait will also be left for the next rodent. Click the ramp into place and your trap is ready to use.

Human rat and mouse trap

Many other types of rat traps are inhumane and cause the animals to suffer . For example, glue traps, illegal in many places, do not kill rodents immediately. Rather , the animal slowly dies of dehydration and exhaustion . Rat poison kills the animals slowly, sometimes taking as long as three days . And even snap traps do not always kill the rodent immediately, but can catch them by a limb and leave them to suffer.

This bucket trap is a humane way to catch rodents . The rat or mouse falls harmlessly into the bucket and does not get out. Later you can humanely terminate all captured animals . Or you can take the bucket to a place far from your home and release the animals there .

Reusable bucket trap

This bucket trap can be used over and over again . Place it near a wall where you suspect rodent activity. After you have thrown out the mice and rats that have been caught in the trap, you can set it up again. It is a good idea to wear gloves when handling the trap . Pests can carry diseases that can be transmitted to humans.

When you want to clean the trap, simply remove the lid from the bucket. Wash the lid and bucket with soap and water , or use bleach.
